Aggressive Chihuahua

We have a 5 year old female spayed chihuahua. We have a male chihuahua who is 9 and the two of them get along fine. We introduced a new female chihuahua several months ago and she is spayed. Our 5 year old female will literally attack the young dog if she tries to get close to me. There are times though when she will allow her to be close and they actually cuddle. They play together too. It's just when I'm in the picture. I've had to pull our 5 year old off the young one and been bitten many times in the process. Sometimes even when the young dog isn't around and I'm trying to get in bed she will bite me. I don't have a clue how to even begin to to help these dogs and I don't want to have to remove one of them from the house. Please refer me to someone or some training that will help solve this. I'm desperate.

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
