Aggressive Corgi

I have a 3 to 4 year old corgi who is getting way too aggressive with our other dog (Aussie, boarder collie mix). It started out as little nips and barking when they ran around, but over the past 7 or so months it has gotten worse. I feed them separately (a counter island between them), now I have stopped her from eating hers and attacking our other dog to take his food. My other dog has never retaliated, he just wines and backs up (the same with water). The other day I let them out to go potty and heard my other dog yelp (She chases him all the time). Later that night I found that he has a quarter sides hole in is side where it looks like she bit him. The other thing is my wife is about to give birth to our first child. I am very afraid of what the corgi will do with a baby around.

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
