OK I rescued my blue nose pit about a yr ago he was tied up in a backyard and hungry we brought him home where we have 2 male chihuahuas one was older and one was about 3 weeks old they all get along fine my pit even raised my baby chihuahua and loved him like it WAS his baby well about a couple weeks ago my pit out of nowhere attacked my now 8 month old chihuahua almost killing him so we separated them and both are OK now bUT just yesterday my pit out of nowhere with no warning grabbed our older chihuahua and unfortunately he killed him it's was bloody and disturbing and so my question is what do I do or what is causing him to act so volatile al of a sudden it's way out of character for him

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
