Aggressive Rat Terrier

I have two rat terrier sisters that I purchased together . Sisters , LaLa and GiGi.......they are great dogs but it seems now that it is nicer out they seem to be outside more which is great I have a really nice yard and have dog door so they can run and play as much as they like. My problem is they seem to be getting more aggressive not only fighting each other a lot but also when they come inside they are a little more aggressive. I have 5 daughters under the age of 12 and I would have to see one of them get bite because the dog is too excited or just wound up from weather change.......:is there a pill or shot that you can give a dog to get them to calm down a little? I feel when I was younger my parents would take our cocker spaniel every once in awhile for a shot ?? Second question that have become big barkers running the yard chasing birds etc. which is ok but think it has caused them to over do it when a neighbor come to the door......would anyone recommend a bark collar ? They both were invisible fence collars currently

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
