Lab mix

My bf has 2 dogs. Both lab mix. I have doxie. We've been together 4 yrs. Female lab has always humped bf leg. She also fights with other lab.after we first moved in she bit my doxie. Bf says cause she is alpha dog. Recently we got young pup. Prolly bad mistake. Other night female lab was eating. Pup got to close to food. I reached down to move her back. And got bit. Last night bf had one of those toys that have treats for dogs to get out. My doxie ended up in her mouth. The lab mixes have always wrestled and bite at each other. I say its wrong and only encourages worse behavior. How can we get them all to get along so I don't have to feel threatened or the little dogs be in danger?

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
