new aggression between my two dogs

by beverly
(Ok)

I have a 3 year old pit/Catahoula and a 13 year old Dalmatian both girls..both fixed
all pack issues have been worked out long ago the 3 year old is in charge ..
recently my Dalmatian has been diagnosed with diabetes with that she has gotten very bad cataracts very quickly that have left her almost blind .. she is also deaf
I know that some of the issues are that the Dalmatian cant pick up some clues but it seems in the last day or two it has gotten really bad ...
I am very worried about the older dog getting hurt
any help would be amazing
we know we don't have much time left with the older dog but we want that to be as long as possible with out her getting hurt so bad we loose both dogs

Nothing In Life Is Free
by: Adam G. Katz

Employ the "Nothing In Life Is Free" approach, so that your dog starts to view you as the "pack leader." If your dog doesn't see you as the leader, then your corrections will be meaningless. So, if you're doing subtle things (inadvertently) to undermine your leadership role around the house-- it will be counter-productive.
